Jackie was my mum's friend, I remember she tried to teach me to make Chutney not my best work but it was fun. I also learned that ladies can drive an MG at what feels like break neck speeds in and out of traffic then you see the speedo and reality hits.

Later Jackie gave me assistance in choosing subjects to study that should have got me in to the trade I wanted, that all changed as I got older but it still gave me a goal to aim for.

It takes a true friend in life who you don't see for years but when you do see them you don't feel shy or nervous and you are still comfortable to be in their company.

I will never forget Jackie or that MG.
